Russian MP Death Case: The post-mortem report of Russian lawmaker and businessman Pavel Antonov indicated that Antonov died of internal injuries after the fall, while his co-passenger Vladimir Bidenov died of cardiac arrest, police said on Wednesday (December 28). CMO Lalmohan said that Bidenov’s viscera has been preserved, but not Antonov’s. Lalmohan Routray said that the postmortem report has already been handed over to the police. The viscera will be sent to the Forensic Laboratory in Bhubaneswar.

Sources had earlier said that Antonov allegedly jumped from the third floor of the hotel, while his guide Jitendra Singh took him to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in an ambulance after being informed by the hotel staff. However, Antonov was declared brought dead by the doctors.
Meanwhile, on the instructions of the Director General of Police, the CID crime branch team is scheduled to visit Raigarh on Wednesday (December 28) to investigate the mysterious death of two Russian nationals.
